Mission
Welcome to KGHP-FM. We are an educational/community radio station serving the Gig Harbor and Key peninsulas in the southern Puget Sound region of Washington. Our mission is two-fold:
- We offer students a unique and hands-on broadcasting experience from our studios at Peninsula High School.
- We provide our greater community with valuable information and entertainment.
Staffing/Format
Staffed mainly by students and volunteers, KGHP-FM offers an eclectic scale of entertainment which includes jazz, blues, reggae, roots and Americana, classic rock, vintage music and local sports.
Emergency Information
KGHP is also a great source for local emergency information. From school closures and snow days to environmental calamities, KGHP has always been a reliable source for up-to-date emergency information.
